- When you look at the
table of sighting opportunities notice that "mag" means brightness, the
lower the number the brighter it will be. Minus numbers are very bright.
- "Starts" means the
first direction it can be seen
- "Max Altitude" means
the highest point it can be seen in the sky.
- "Ends" means the last
direction it can be seen. (It may seem to disappear as it passes into Earth's
shadow).
- "Alt" means how high
in the sky. Any number above about 70 will appear to be nearly overhead.
- "Az." is the direction
to look. N = North. S=South, W = West, E = East.
