Exhibition
As they exit the CRV simulator visitors to our Spanish installation have the opportunity to peruse a small exhibition describing everyday life on the International Space Station.

This covers what they wear, how they sleep, what they eat, how they entertain themselves, how they stay in touch with home and, of course, all the inevitable questions that the little ones like to ask about personal hygiene and bodily functions!

Did you know, for example, that during a three to six month tour on the ISS astronauts don't wash their clothes? They keep one or two of their favourite items but the rest get loaded into a Progress re-supply rocket and sent away to burn up on re-entry.
